US Divers hinged fins review
WARNING
DO NOT BUY THESE FINS! RETURN THEM IMMEDIATELY IF YOU BOUGHT THEM AND THEY ARE STILL UNDER WARRANTY.
These fins are not heavily discounted in stores like Costco, but DO NOT BUY THESE. They hinge will fail within five minutes of swimming, and make these fins inoperational. If someone swims far out, it will present a hazard. The manufacturer should recall this crap immediately.

Manufacturer claims one year warranty. They say that warranty will be provided by the store where you bought it. Bring it to where you bought it and say that the fins are a hazard and you want a return under warranty.

Comment: The writer of the above review is absolutely correct. I bought (Costco Maui) three sets of snorkel equipment (1-large and 2 mediums) and on the very first use the hinge area broke on both pairs of mediums. These fins were not abused or improperly used in any matter. I plan on returning all three sets. I've used US Divers equipment for years and have always been impressed with the quality and durability of their products; there maybe some type of design or production flaw with the hinge area in this model.
