Headlight Restoration Kits - Do They Work?
I could not find real, independed information on whether Headlight Restoration Kits really work like on pictures advertised, so I tried it and here are the results. This was (I believe) a 3M kit sold at Wal-Mart.

You will see that certain flaws will remain on this close-up of other headlight:
So the method isn't magic. It will just remove "frosting" on the outside of headlights, while any moisture, scratching, melting, etc will remain. Also note that patience is required when using the kit. You'll need at least 15 minutes to buffer each headlight.
