Farberware Basting Brush review
I tried to buy an oil brush in Stop & Shop. They had one for $5.
The brush fell apart after a minute of first use after purchase!
From the pictures, you can see how idiotically designed it is. A tiny length of the end of a screw holds the two parts together.
Stop & Shop also had a brush that looked like a painter's brush. Well, I just went to a hardware store and bought a natural fiber painting brush.
Note: painting brushes cannot be placed into the dishwasher or left moist, as they will most likely corrode (rust).
This is not the first time I encounter an overpriced, but crap-quality product from Farberware. The problem is that these expensive items have pushed out what used to be American made products from the stores. The other item which broke immediately on first use was a FarberWare can opener - do not buy
