Software audio volume amplifier
If you are looking for a software volume amlifier (audio volume too low), VideoLAN VLC Media Player and Media Player Classic Homecinema can both amplify audio volume.
VLC can amplify volume 4 times, and MPC many times that.
These programs, especially VLC, can solve many more problems with crappy content available from the internet, including unsynchronized audio and video, errors, wrong aspect ration, and many many others.
